Summer sucks. America is boring. I want to be back in China, playing shows and hanging out wth all of the cool Beijing folks!

Chris and I had a fun time at what bar last night, thanks to the loyal fans who came and saw this free show. Not too sure when End of the World will play next. We are hoping to sneak a show in before the break, and we are always on the look out for new musicians to add to the mix, so if you or someone you know (especially a horn players!) want to jam, that'd always be cool.

Bad news for those who care. I guess we are not going to be playing this saturday's show. A lack of communication in the band and between the band and the bars has forced us to cancel the show. Hopefully we can get one before our annual summer break. If now, expect to see us up and running again in late August.

However, if you have a crush on me, and want to see a show anyway, I will be playing with my old band this Friday at What Bar. Tickets are 20 with one free beer or 15 with nothing. I think Easy Going will be playing there too! And the best thing about What Bar (besides their curtious management) is across the street are the best chuan'r in Beijing!

Hey, its your hopeless guitarist here once again. I'd like to thank all of the beautiful people who came out to the show and actually watched us play. the show was awesome (mostly because of Brain failure) but we all had a great time... it just seems that time is short when you are on stage... I never want to get down. Anyway, I think we are playing again at Wuming Gaodi (Nameless Highland) this saturday, but because of our drummers work, we still arent' 100%.

But- if you are looking for fun and adventure, come to the WHAT BAR this friday and you can see me play bass with my side project (which I have strangely been in longer that End of the World) Samurai X!! We might change that name... but this band is pure fun. We've been together for 4 years now, and we play mostly inde-rock- Pixies like stuff. We've got the guitarist/vocalist from Easy Going, Wu Ke Jia on drums and my long time friend, Chris Laidlaw on guitar and vox.

By the way, Thats Beijing sucks.

OK. Heres the scoop on our next gig, and maybe the last untill the fall!

Were playing at NOW CLUB, and the cover charge is 60 kuai with a free drink (thats kind of a joke now that I think about it...). Also, this is a show at 2 bars, because there will be DJs at Vibes too... The date is Saturday, June 5th... and there is a dress code... its fetish night, so lets see everyone (who is sexy) in plaid bondage pants!!!
